Apple has recently affirmed that John Giannandrea, the ex-Googler AI veteran who joined the organization back in April, has joined any semblance of Tim Cook, Jony Ive, Eddy Cue and Angela Ahrendts on the official group.
His job on the official group will be “Senior Vice President of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Strategy,” flagging exactly how key AI and AI will be to Apple moving forward. Giannandrea has been driving Apple’s Siri and Core ML group for a considerable length of time, bringing the two beforehand particular groups together under one pioneer.
Preceding Apple, Giannandrea went through eight years driving the AI push at Google; starting at 2016, he was driving the pursuit group, also.
