Damas Jewelry has named Asil Attar as its first female CEO.
Attar, who expected her position on February 3, has 25 years of involvement in the business, working with brands like The Giorgio Armani Group, Coach and as the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim and Al Yasra Fashion.
Executive chairman of Damas Jewellery, Hamdi Chatti said, “We are delighted to have our very first female chief executive officer on board.”
He even included, “Attar is known for her transformational work and proficiency in implementing visionary strategies while having a keen eye for fashion. All of that makes Attar an invaluable asset for our business.”
Damas Jewelry brand was established in 1907 as a goldsmith. It opened its first store in Dubai’s Gold Souq in 1959 is as yet working the store right up ’til the present time.
Today Damas has a broad arrangement of more than 40 global extravagance brands and in-house brands. With 230 stores spread crosswise over GCC, it has verified a worldwide trademark.
