Incredibles 2 to be the first Disney Production to screen in Saudi Arabia

AMC Cinemas, which is one of the largest movie theatre operatives in the globe, has declared plans to show the first Disney film in the Gulf kingdom.
Incredibles 2 will premiere at its cinema located at the King Abdullah International Conference Centre in Jeddah, the company said in an announcement.
Incredibles 2 will be the first Disney production to be shown in Saudi Arabia and will released after its first edition in 2014 achieved outstanding success in the box office with revenues stretching out more than $633 million.
AMC said tickets for the Incredibles 2 movie will go on sale on Thursday through its official website.
AMC added that it is currently working on executing a development plan that offers movie lovers the latest movies at numerous locations around the kingdom.
In April, the Development and Investment Entertainment Company (DIEC), a completely owned contributory of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), launched Saudi Arabia’s first public cinema in collaboration with US-based AMC Entertainment.
The partnership between DIEC and AMC Entertainment will advance a key objective of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to grow the entertainment sector.
DIEC said it intends to invest up to SR10 billion in entertainment projects by 2030.

The first cinema complex was located in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh and the partnership could see 40 or more AMC Cinemas complexes open in the Gulf kingdom over the next five years.
