Kuwait Airways is set to drop a portion of its flights as it hopes to rent three airplane to cover for a postponement in aircraft conveyances.
The national carrier sttaed that it was expected to get three new Airbus A320 Neo aircraft in March this year, yet has been conveyed by the French maker that they will be deferred and delivered in June, October and November of this current year.
Kuwait Airways had suspended tasks of its more established Airbus A320 air ship since April 1, which have been placed in “halt mode” in anticipation of their deal and fully expecting the new airplane being conveyed.
Accordingly, Kuwait Airways said it should drop a few flights.
“Kuwait Airways might be required to briefly drop a portion of our present flights and union different flights to adapt to these conditions while we work steadily to reestablish or arranged working calendar inside a couple of days,” the carrier said.
“All options are being considered to oblige our travelers and guarantee the least interruption to their movement agenda.”
Kuwait Airways expects that it will have the new rented airplane inside the following two weeks.
