Majority of the petrol prices in the UAE are set to rise slightly in August, according to an announcement by the UAE Fuel Price Committee.
The price of Super 98 and Special 95 will increase 1 fil per litre, while diesel will decline by 3 fils.
Fuel prices were liberalised about two years ago, so prices now move with the global market.
Super 98: AED2.57 a litre up from AED2.56 in July)
Special 95: AED2.46 (up from AED2.45)
Diesel: AED2.63 (down from AED2.66)
Global crude oil prices have gone up this year, and the UAE increased fuel prices in May and June before reducing them in July.
