ABU DHABI: UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued an announcement on Saturday cautioning seafarers to practice alert in the Arabian Gulf and drivers to avoid potential risk because of poor perceivability brought about by dust storms and high breezes.

As per the NCM, twists with rates achieving 55kph every hour will cause harsh oceans and wave statures could reach up eight feet by 10am on Sunday.

In the announcement, the middle anticipated that perceivability should drop to under 2,000 meters, encouraging drivers to appropriately pursue the traffic rules.
