SaudiGulf Airlines announced that it will launch its first international operations with double-daily flights between Riyadh and Dubai starting on March 1 this year.
The second full service national carrier in Saudi Arabia is described as a “boutique experience” for travellers to Dubai, with leather seats throughout each aircraft.
SaudiGulf Airlines will operate its fleet of A320 aircraft to Dubai, offering passengers 16 seats in Business First class and 120 seats in Economy Class, with an in-flight entertainment system that includes the latest Hollywood blockbusters.
The airline also offers its passengers a Wi-Fi service onboard utilising the latest internet technology along with a dedicated chauffeur service in Riyadh.
Owned by Abdulhadi Al-Qahtani & Sons group of companies (Tariq Al-Qahtani & brothers), the airline launched domestic operations between its base in Dammam and Riyadh in October 2016.

According to SaudiGulf, both the international expansion and the increased hiring of women are part of a wider effort to achieve Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” goals.
Currently operating an all-Airbus A320 fleet of four aircraft, it also has a orders for 26 Bombardier C Series jets and 16 widebody Boeing aircraft, likely to be 787s or 777s.
