Sean Connolly is set to leave Dubai Opera’s solitary eatery.
As per Esquire Middle East, the famed chef is set to leave the endeavor ‘Sean Connolly at Dubai Opera’ on January 15 this year.
He told the publication, “It’s with great sadness that I leave my baby behind, but I do intend to keep coming back to Dubai.”
The restaurant, started in July 2017, is a contemporary, casual brasserie extended crosswise over 12,000 square foot on top of the iconic building in Downtown Dubai.
The venue, which was Connolly’s first in the Middle East, includes a primary eatery, chef’s table, private lounge area, bar and outside rooftop terrace that overlooks views of the Burj Khalifa.
British-born Connolly, who fabricated a name for himself in Australia and New Zealand, has five different eateries in Adelaide, Auckland (2), Byron Bay and Sydney.
