Strata Manufacturing has gone into a concurrence with UAE-based DGWorld (Digi Robotics Technologies) to execute a robotics system in its manufacturing processes, the organization reported on Sunday.
The understanding will empower Strata – an entirely owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala – to automate the organization’s operations assembly unit, including reaming, drilling and countersinking, which are an imperative part in the generation of aircraft components.
When the procedure is qualified, Strata stated that it will be coordinated into the organization’s production line in Al Ain that creates composite aerostructures for aircraft producers.
CEO of Strata, Ismail Ali Abdulla mentioned, “Strata’s move towards automating production capabilities with the use of robotics alongside our employees will offer greater efficiency advantages for our global customers.”
Ali Abdulla even said that the partnership with DGWorld – a UAE-born firm – shows that the ‘made in UAE’ brand has “a lot to offer.”
He claimed, “This partnership enables us to expand our technological qualifications on several customer programmes, making us more advanced, competitive and efficient — a future that we are looking forward to as Abu Dhabi realises its ambitions in transforming its economy into diverse industries, inclusive of a sustainable aerospace sector.”
At present, half of Strata’s makers are situated in the UAE.
