This week on TechCrunch’s weekly “Equity” Podcast, the trending topics were Uber and Instacart of course.
The team was joined by Mike Ghaffary from Social Capital, who run Eat24, when it was Yelp’s food delivery business. He definitely was the perfect guest for the podcast as the hood topic was food delivery.
The guests talked about UberEats which is losing lots of money in Asia and also from Uber Eats. Also Instacart was the talk of the town as the company gets quite a bit of funding from investors who still seem keenly interested in the startup which is now worth over $4 billion.
Lastly the podcast also covered how although Amazon seems like it’s winning at everything, but hundreds of people at the company are still losing their jobs.
If you are interested to catch TechCrunch’s “Equity” podcasts every week, tune in every Friday at 6 am PT.
