Tesla recently joined hands with Elon Musk’s company Home Depot. According to the new partnership deal, Tesla will be able to sell both the Power Wall and Tesla’s solar panels at 800 Home Depot locations.
Reportedly Tesla will be able to display its energy products on a large scale in the 800 out of 2,200 Home Depot stores. The displays will be 12 feet tall and 7 feet wide, and that some locations will have visual demonstrations of the products.
As per the terms of the deal, Tesla will have its brand name over the retail spaces. Additionally Tesla employees will be on hand to assist with service and sales.
Solar panels by Tesla not only conserve energy but are aesthetically pleasing to the eye as they resemble any normal current roofing systems. Furthermore an additional attraction by Tesla is the Power wall which enables the consumers to store energy after it is diffused through the panels/tiles.
Partnership with Home Depot will indeed be Tesla’s first big step in the retail market. It will truly mark Tesla’s capabilities in the field.
