Sharjah Cinema Company’s Cinemacity IMAX is a joint venture between Xclusive Cinema Holding of Lebanon and Alef Group. The project will launch its new multiplex at Sharjah’s new Zero6 mall on Tuesday.
The IMAX theatre at Zero 6 mall in Sharjah will feature the UAE’s largest eve IMAX screen to date. Not only that, the cinema will also have an exclusive VIP lounge for IMAX ticket holders. The IMAX theatre will begin with the release of Warner Bros Pictures’ Rampage.
The cinema will be divided into three different classes of seating – Deluxe Class, Club Class seats with semi reclining chairs as well as extra legroom, and the luxurious full reclining VIP Star Class seats that come with in-theatre service.
Cinemacity at the Zero6 will additionally feature two VIP theatres with dine-in service and an exclusive access to the Star lounge, and five large screen theatres.
Hammad Atassi, CEO of Xclusive Cinemas, said: “We have always strived to provide our guests with an unmatched quality of cinema experience; consistently setting new standards through our luxurious and state-of-the-art cinemas across the Middle East. By partnering with IMAX at our newest location, we are proud to provide the Northern Emirates and Sharjah with their first IMAX theatre, and a cinema-going experience unlike any other in the region.”
Sheikh Khalid Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman, Alef Group also commented saying, “We believe we have found the right partner to ensure that our shared expertise in delivering outstanding customer experiences will be perfectly translated into one of our most ambitious projects yet – at Zero 6.”
