Berlin: Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal is supposed on the verge of signing for Barcelona after exiting the Bayern Munich training camp on Friday.The 31-year-old midfield dynamo was rushed away from Bayern’s pre-season training camp in Bavaria and many media outlets stated a statement of his transfer to Barcelona is nearby.
As per the Spanish newspapers Mundo Deportivo and AS and UK daily The Guardian, Barcelona have made preparations to pay 30 million euros ($35m) for the box-to-box midfielder.
Vidal would accountedly receive a three-year contract and earn nearly nine million euros every season with the Spanish giants.
The Guardian claims Vidal met Barcelona officials previous week and has yet now proceeded his medical after being given permission to leave by the new Bayern manager Niko Kovac.
